Homemade Sweet Potato Pakora Recipe

Ingredients:
500 gms sweet potatoes
4 medium potatoes
1 and 1/4 cup besan / gram flour
4-5 chopped green chillies
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 lemon
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt as per taste
oil for frying
Method:
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes and potatoes .
Using a thick grater, grate both the sweet potatoes and potatoes in water so that they do not turn black. Wash it nicely in the water and then squeeze them tightly to remove all the excess water.
In a bowl add the squeezed sweet potatoes and potatoes and mix the turmeric , chilli powder, salt, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and lemon juice in it. Add the gram flour and bind them all together . The mixture should not be too watery or too stiff.
In a kadai heat the oil then drop small balls of the mixture in medium hot oil. Fry them on low to medium flame till golden brown on both sides.
Remove and keep them on a kitchen towel.
Repeat the process till all the all the mixture is used up.
