Homemade Matar Pakora Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh matar/ green peas
5-6 chopped green chillies
1.5 cups rice flour
1 medium chopped onion
1 medium grated potato
1 tsp jeera /cumin seeds
1/2 tbsp chilli flakes
1/2 tbsp chaat masala
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves
1/4 cup curds/yogurt
oil for frying
Method:
Remove the green matar/peas from the shells and then wash them . In a grinder jar add all the washed matar and chopped chillies . Grind on pulse mode for 1-2 seconds to form a coarse paste.
In a bowl add rice flour, matar paste, chopped onion, grated potato, chopped coriander leaves, salt, curds and all the dry spices. Mix well and then add water as needed to form a dropping consistency batter.
Heat oil in a kadai then drop small balls of the batter in the hot oil. Fry on medium flame till crispy and brown on both sides. Remove on a tissue towel.
Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Serve this yummy and crispy pakora with green chutney.
