Homemade Rawa Ladoo Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup fine rawa/sooji/semolina
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp besan/gram flour
1/2 tsp cardamom / elachi powder
4 tbsp milk powder
1-2 tbsp chopped almond and pistachio
Method:
If the rawa is coarse grind in a grinder to make it fine.
In a kadai or heavy vessel heat 4 tbsp ghee and roast the rawa and beasan on medium to low flame stirring at intervals till golden brown in colour.
Remove in a plate and allow it to cool. Then add the chopped nuts to it and mix well.
In a pan add the sugar and water and cook on medium to high flame till the sugar melts then add the elachi powder and cook again till the sugar syrup becomes a little sticky.
Add the hot sugar syrup to the rawa and give it a good mix. Allow it to cool till the mixture thickens.
Add to the rawa mixture the milk powder and mix well.
Take a little rawa mixture in your palms and roll into the shape of ladoos as per the preferred size and garnish it with some chopped pistachios.
When cooled store in an airtight container.
