Homemade Peanut Chutney Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut or singdana or groundnut
1/2 cup dalia (roasted gram dal)
2 garlic pods
4-5 whole kashmiri chillies
salt as per taste
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp oil
For Tadka:
1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seed
some chopped curry leaves
1 whole chilli
Method:
Take a pan heat oil and fry the peanuts till light golden brown in colour. Then add the garlic, dalia, and red chillies. Roast for few seconds only..
Remove in a plate and let it cool.
Take a grinder add all the roasted ingredients along with lemon juice, salt and some water. Grind to a fine paste. Add more water only if required.
Remove in a bowl.
In a small pan heat oil for the tadka. Add the mustard seeds when it splutters add the curry leaves and whole chilli, pour it on the peanut chutney.
Serve this spicy and tasty chutney with Idli or Instant Rice Flour Dosa.
