Homemade Creamy Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients:
500 gms white button mushrooms
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp maida/white flour
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 green chillies chopped finely
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp roughly ground pepper
1 tsp chilli flakes
500 ml milk
salt as per taste
Method:
Wash and chop the mushrooms into four or big cubes.
Heat a pan with 1/2 tbsp oil then add the chopped garlic and green chillies and saute for a second then add the mushrooms and on high flame only cook the mushroom till soft but crunchy. If water comes out from the mushroom cook till it dries. Keep aside for future use.
Take a pan melt the butter then add the maida and cook on low flame stirring continuously for 5 minutes. Then add the milk little by little and cook on low flame stirring continuously to avoid any lumps. Add the oregano, pepper, chilli flakes and salt to it and keep cooking on low flame till the mixture thickens.
Add the cooked mushrooms and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Remove in a serving bowl and enjoy with lemon coriander rice.
