Homemade Tendli Pickle Recipe

Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 100 gms tendli/ ivy gourd

  • 1/4 cup mustard oil

  • 1.5 tsp split mustard seeds

  • 1.5 tsp split methi/fenugreek seeds

  • 1/4 tsp asefodita

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Wash and dry the tendli properly.

  2. Cut the top and bottom of all the tendli then chop them into small cubes.

  3. Take a bowl add all the above spices and the mustard oil and mix well. To it add the cut tendli and give it a good mix.

  4. Keep it in a cool place for 2 days stirring 1-2 times in a day.

  5. After 2 days take a dry glass bottle and transfer the pickle in it. Keep it in the refrigerator. Always use a dry spoon to remove the pickle from the bottle.

Enjoy this yummy pickle with your meals.
