Homemade Rice Cutlets Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked rice
2 tbsp gram flour ( besan )
1 green chilli chopped finely
1 onion chopped finely
1/2 tsp ginger chopped finely
1 tsp jeera (cumin ) seeds
1 pinch asefodita
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves
oil for frying
Method:
Mash the cooked rice and add all the above ingredients in it. Mix well, and make a dough of it.
Take a little mixture and then roll into oval shape cutlets. Keep aside.
In a kadai heat some oil for deep frying and fry the cutlets on medium flame one by one till golden brown on both sides.
Remove in a serving dish and serve with green chutney or ketchup.
note: These rice cutlets are a makeover of leftover rice and can be served as a party starter or even as an evening snack.
