Homemade Sindhi Koki Recipe
Ingredients:
4 cups wheat flour
5-6 onions chopped very finely
1 tbsp green chillies chopped finely
1 tbsp ginger chopped finely
2-3 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
1 tsp carom seeds ( ajwain)
1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds )
1 tbsp pepper grounded coarsely
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp kasuri methi
2 tbsp annardana powder ( dried pomegranate seeds powder)
salt as per taste
1/4 cup oil
Method:
Take a bowl add all the above ingredients and mix well.
By adding a little water at a time make a semi soft dough.
Keep it to rest for half an hour.
With the dough make balls of equal size.
Take a dough ball and with the help of a rolling pin roll into semi thick circular disc.
Heat a tawa and cook the koki on medium flame on both sides by applying oil on it.
Repeat the process till the dough is fully used.
Serve this yummy koki with yogurt and pickle.
