Homemade Paneer Labadar Recipe
Ingredients:
250 gms malai paneer
2 big onions
4 tomatoes
2-3 green chillies chopped finely
1 tbsp ginger chopped finely
1 tbsp garlic chopped finely
2-3 tbsp butter
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera ( cumin ) powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp kasuri methi ( dried fenugreek leaves )
1-2 tbsp cream
1 green capsicum (pepper) cut into cubes
1 small onion petals
Method:
Chop the onions and tomatoes into big pieces and keep it aside.
Cut the paneer into cubes and mix it lightly with a little salt, pepper and a pinch of kashmiri chili .Take a pan heat 1 tbsp oil and saute the paneer in it.
Take a pan heat 1-2 tsp oil then add the chopped onions, tomatoes and green chilies. Add half cup water and cook till it is soft. Let it cool then grind into a fine paste.
In another pan heat the butter and saute the chopped ginger and garlic then add the onion tomato paste. Cook till oil oozes from it.
Add all the above remaining ingredients and mix well. A little water can be added to the gravy if it is very thick.
Add the green capsicum and onion petals. Cook for a 1-2 minutes till it is soft.
Lastly add the paneer cubes and mix well.
Remove in a serving dish and garnish with some cream and coriander leaves.
