Homemade Masala Pav Recipe
For Masala:
Ingredients:
3 big onions finely chopped
3 big tomatoes finely chopped
200 gms tomato puree
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
1 big green capsicum finely chopped
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 big potato boiled and mashed
1 tbsp red chili powder
2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
grated cheese and finely chopped onions for garnishing
salt as per taste
Method:
In a kadai heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil add the garlic, green chilies and onions. Saute till the onions are translucentnthen add the tomatoes and cook till the oil oozes out from the sides. Add the tomato puree and all the spices. Cover and cook for 5-10 minutes on low flame. Add the potato and capsicum cook for another 5- 10 minutes and then remove from flame.
If the masala is too thick a little water can be added to it.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Masala for the pav is ready.
