Homemade Jowar Pancake Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups jowar ( sorghum flour)
1/2 cup curds ( yogurt)
1 cup cabbage chopped into small cubes
1 cup chopped onions
1 small green capsicum chopped into small cubes
3-4 chopped green chillies
1 tsp jeera ( cumin) seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
salt as per taste
1/2 tsp soda bi carb
some chopped coriander leaves
Method:
Take a bowl add the jowar flour, jeera, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and curds. Mix all the above ingredients together with 4 cups water and ensure there are no lumps. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
After the rest time mix the chopped onions, cabbage, capsicum, green chilies, coriander leaves and soda . The batter has to be dropping consistency so if it is too thick a little more water can be added.
Heat a small non stick tawa/pan then pour a ladle of the batter on it and slowly spread into a small medium half inch pancake. Sprinkle some oil all over it.
Cover and cook on medium to low flame till golden brown in colour. Flip and cook on the other side also. Remove onto a plate.
Repeat till all the batter is used up.
Serve with green chutney.
