Homemade Jowar Chilla Recipe

Ingredients :
1+ 1/2 cups jowar ( sorghum ) flour
2 tbsp besan flour
2 tbsp wheat flour
1 tsp jeera ( cumin seeds )
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
salt as per taste
2-3 green chillies chopped finely
some chopped coriander leaves
1 big onion chopped finely
1 green capsicum chopped finely
some oil for cooking
Method:
In a bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add water little by little to make a pouring consistency batter. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
After the rest time add the chopped onions, capsicum, green chillies and coriander in the batter .
Heat a non stick tawa on medium flame and pour 1-2 ladle of the batter on it. Spread it slowly to form a round medium thickness disc. Sprinkle some oil all around it. Cover and cook on low to medium flame till golden brown. Remove the cover and flip on the other side. Sprinkle some oil and cook till brown on the other side also.
Remove in a plate and repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Serve this healthy and yummy chilla with green chutney.
