Homemade Curds Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice

  • 2 cups curds (yogurt)

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 2-3 whole red chillies

  • 1- 2 green chilies chopped finely

  • 2-3 strings curry leaves chopped

  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 2 tbsp oil or ghee

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Clean, wash and soak the rice for half an hour.

  2. Boil the rice till it is very soft, then drain the water and keep aside for cooling.

  3. Beat the curds till it is smooth then add it to the boiled rice along with salt and mix well.

  4. For the tadka, take a small pan heat 2 tbsp ghee add the mustard seeds when it splutters add the red chilles, green chillies and curry leaves.

  5. Pour the tadka on the curd rice and mix well.

  6. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

    Serve this yummy curds rice with pickle.
