Homemade Bread Kulcha Recipe
Ingredients :
6 cups maida (white flour )
2 sachets instant yeast or 2 tbsp instant yeast
3 tsp sugar
salt as per taste
2-3 tbsp oil
1 cup milk
Method:
Soak the yeast and sugar in lukewarm milk for 10-15 minutes till it rises or froths.
Mix the salt and the frothed yeast to the flour.
Add water little by little and knead for 10- 15 minutes to form a semi soft dough.
Add the oil at intervals to make a smooth dough.
Cover and keep it to rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
After 1 hour pat the dough to remove all the air and bubbles from it.
Make balls of equal size from the dough.
Sprinkle some maida flour on a rolling board or platform surface and with a rolling pin roll into a round medium thickness kulcha.
Heat a tawa grease it with a little oil. Place a kulcha on it, cover and cook on one side then flip and cook on the other side till it is light brown on both sides.
Serve this yummy Kucha with Labadar paneer or Phindi Chole or Kadai Paneer
