Homemade Aam Panna Recipe
Ingredients:
4 raw mangoes boiled ( equal to 1 cup mango pulp)
1 tsp chopped ginger
8 -9 mint leaves
1 cup sugar
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp black or rock salt
salt as per taste
Method:
Wash the mangoes thourghly in water and then in a pressure cooker take 4 cups water and boil the raw mangoes upto 4-5 whistles.
Remove from the cooker and when cooled remove l the skin . With a spoon scoop out the pulp from the mangoes.
In a grinder add the mango pulp, sugar, mint leaves and ginger. Grind into a fine paste.
Sieve the paste and then add the pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt and salt. Mix well and store this concentrated pulp in a glass bottle in the refrigerator for future use.
How to serve : In a glass add 2-3 tbsp or as per your taste the concentrated mango paste then pour some cold water, drop a few ice cubes in it and a mint leaf.
