Homemade Palak Paratha Recipe
Ingredients:
2 bunch palak ( spinach)
3 cups multigrain atta or wheat atta
1 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
2-3 green chillies chopped finely
1 big onion chopped finely
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp garam masala
salt as per taste

Method:
Remove the stem of the palak and wash it.
In a pan add the palak and cook on low flame till soft. Remove the palak and throw the water remaining in the pan .Allow it to cool then grind into a fine paste without adding any water. Keep aside.
In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil sauté the garlic and ginger then add the onions and cook till soft. Let it cool.
In a bowl add the atta, all dry spices, salt, green chilies, palak paste and cooked onions . Mix well , slowly add water little by little and knead into a semi soft dough.
Make small balls of equal size of the entire dough. Cover and keep. Take one ball dust some flour on the rolling board and roll into medium thickness paratha.
Heat a tawa place one rolled paratha on it , cook for a few seconds then flip, cook again apply some oil and then flip the paratha allow it to cook again apply some oil. When the paratha has brown spots on both sides remove from flame.
Repeat the process till all the balls are rolled into parathas and then cooked on the tawa.
Enjoy this healthy and tasty palak parathas with yogurt.
