Homemade Soya Keema Paratha Recipe

Course : Main/ Breakfast

Servings: 7-8 nos

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients For Dough:

  • 3 cup multigrain or wheat atta

  • 1/2 tbsp salt

Ingredients For Stuffing:

  • 1 cup soya granules

  • 1 /2 tbsp finely chopped ginger

  • 5-6 nos finely chopped green chillies

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp jeera/cumin powder

  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tbsp amchur/mango powder

  • salt as per taste

  • some chopped coriander leaves

Method:

  1. In a bowl mix the atta and salt then add little by little water to make a very soft dough. Apply some oil on the dough and make a smooth ball .Keep aside for future use.

  2. Boil some water in a vessel then add the soya granules . Cover and allow it to rest for 10 minutes. Then in a sieve drain out all the water and squeeze out all the extra water if any from it.

  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan then add the ginger and green chillies and saute for a second then add the soya granules and cook for another 1 minute. To it add all the dry spices, salt and coriander leaves . Stir and mix well .

  4. Remove the stuffing in a bowl and allow it to cool .If it is too dry add 1-2 tbsp of warm water and mix well.

  5. Knead the dough again and make equal size balls. Then take one dough ball and dust some atta on it and roll into a small disc. Place a good quantity of the soya stuffing on it and then bring all the sides together to form a round ball. Dust some atta on it and then slowly roll into a medium thickness round paratha.

  6. Heat a tawa then place the rolled paratha on it and. Cook for a second then flip and apply some oil all over it . Cook again and flip again till golden brown on both sides.

  7. Remove on a plate.

  8. Repeat the process till all the dough balls and stuffing are used.

Serve these delicious soya stuffed parathas with some curds and pickle.
