Homemade Stuffed Capsicum Recipe

Homemade Stuffed Capsicum Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 green capsicum (medium size)

  • 250 gms paneer ( cottage cheese) scrambled

  • 1 big potato grated

  • 2-3 green chillies chopped finely

  • 1/2 tbsp ginger chopped finely

  • 2-3 tbsp coriander leaves chopped finely

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder

  • salt as per taste

Chhayas food stuffed capsicum - ingredients

Method:

  1. Wash, deseed and chop the capsicum into half inch round rings. Keep aside.

  2. In a bowl add the scrambled paneer, grated potato and all the remaining ingredients, mix well.

  3. Take one capsicum ring and fill it with the mixture. Press tightly so that the stuffing does not come out.

  4. In a pan heat some oil place one by one the stuffed capsicum.Cover and cook on low flame then slowly turn and cook on the other side also till completely cooked from all sides.Do not over cook them.

  5. Remove in a plate and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

Serve this tasty stuffed capsicum as a side dish with chapati, paratha or rice.
