Homemade Papdi Sabzi Recipe
Ingredients:
500 gms papdi
2-3 pinch asafoetida
1 tsp mustard seeds
6-8 whole red chilli
1/2 cup peanuts without skin
1 tbsp amchur (mango powder)
1/2 tbsp jaggery
1 string curry leaves
salt as per taste
Method:
Remove the strings from both the sides of the papdi and break them into two or three pieces. Wash and allow it to dry.
Heat oil in a pan add asafoetida and mustard seeds when it splutters add the papdi and saute for a minute then add the salt.
Cover and cook on low flame.
In a grinder add the peanuts and chillies and grind it coarsely. Keep aside.
Make a paste of jaggery and amchur by adding a little water .
Once the papdi is almost cooked add the peanut masala and jaggery paste.
Cook till the papdi is soft and completely dry .
Serve this tasty sabzi with chapatis or parathas.
