Homemade Methi Thepla Recipe
Ingredients :
4 cups multigrain or wheat flour
1/4 tsp asefodita
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp white til (sesame ) seeds
1 tbsp kasuri methi
salt as per taste
2 -3 bunch fresh methi leaves ( about 1 cup)
1/2 cup curds ( yogurt )
4 tbsp oil
Paste of ( 2 onions, 2 green chillies, 1 inch piece ginger and 5-6 pods of garlic)
Method:
Mix all the above ingredients together to make a semi soft dough.Add water only if required.
Let the dough rest for half an hour.
Make small balls of equal size.
Dust some flour on a rolling board and roll into thin circular disc.
Heat a tawa and cook till brown on both sides by applying oil .
Serve this delicious theplas with yogurt and pickle.
Note: Methi Theplas can be stored for 2-3 days.
