Homemade Lemon Pickle Recipe
Ingredients :
13 medium size and thin skinned lemons
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp homemade garam masala
salt as per taste
Method:
Wash and completely dry all the lemons.
Remove the juice of 4 lemons. Keep aside.
Make a deep cross on all the remaining lemons without cutting it right trough.
Mix the garam masala , sugar and salt together and fill all the lemons slowly with the masala.
Place them in a glass bowl or bottle and pour all the lemon juice over it.
Cover with a muslin cloth and keep in the sun for 4-5 days.
When the lemons turn soft it is ready to eat.
Store in a glass bottle at room temperature.
