Homemade Jowar Roti Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 3 cups jowar atta

  • salt as per taste

  • ghee

  • hot water

Method:

  1. Sieve the jowar atta and mix salt in it .Make a semi soft dough by adding hot water little by little and mixing with the help of a spoon. When it is cooled enough then knead the dough with your hands into a smooth soft dough. Keep aside for 10 -15 minutes.

  2. Make small balls of equal size. Cover and keep so that the dough balls does not dry. Dust some flour on to a rolling board and roll into a chapati .

  3. Heat a tawa and place the rolled chapati on it. Cook on both sides similar to a roti.

  4. Remove and apply some ghee on one side.

  5. Similarly repeat the process and prepare all the chapatis.

Serve this healthy and tasty jowar rotis with Dal Tadka and Yam Fry.
