Homemade Instant Coconut Modak Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup milk powder
1 cup sugar
1 cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp ghee
3 tbsp milk ( room temperature)
12 cashewnuts
2 cardamom
some chopped pistachio
Method:
In a grinder add the sugar, cashewnuts and cardamom and grind to a fine powder.
Then add the desiccated coconut and milk powder and grind again just for a second.
Remove the mixture in a bowl add the ghee and then mix. Slowly little by little add the milk and make a semi soft dough.
Take a modak mould grease it then add a few chopped pistachio on one side. Place some dough on each side of the mould and press the dough then close the mould. Remove the extra dough from the sides then slowly open it and remove the modak from the mould.
Repeat the process till all the dough is used up.
Serve these yummy modak for Baapa on Ganesh Chaturthi.
