Homemade Farali Rajgira Dahi Vada Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup rajgira / amaranth atta
1 tsp pepper powder
1 chopped green chilli
sendha / himalayan pink salt as per taste
oil for frying
1.5 cups curds/yogurt
Method:
In a bowl add the rajgira atta, salt, pepper and chopped chilli. Mix well then add water little by little to make a dropping consistency batter. Keep beating the batter in one direction till soft and fluffy.
Boil some water in a vessel. Cover and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai then drop small balls of the batter in the oil and fry on medium to low flame till golden brown in colour. Remove in a plate and then put it in the hot water.
Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.
Keep the vadas in hot water for 15 minutes then gently squeeze the vadas and keep aside.
Take the curds in a bowl then add salt as perv taste and 1/4 tsp pepper and whisk .
Add the squeezed vadas in the whisked curds and allow it to soak in it for some time. Sprinkle some pepper all over.
Enjoy this tasty dahi vada during vrat/fasting.
