Homemade Cabbage Veggie Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients:
250 gms cabbage
1 cup carrot
1 cup french beans
1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
3-4 green chillies finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp chaat masala
1/2 cup unroasted rawa ( semolina)
4 tbsp rice flour
salt as per taste
oil for shallow frying
Method:
Peel the carrots and string the beans. Wash and chop them finely.
Wash the cabbage and chop it finely into small cubes.
In a bowl add the cabbage with one tsp salt. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes so that all the water comes out from it.
Squeeze out all the water from the cabbage and keep aside.
Take a bowl mix the chopped carrots, beans, cabbage , green chilies, ginger , coriander leaves, salt and spices. Then add the rice flour and rawa to prepare a medium dough. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes so that if there is any water in the cabbage it is soaked by the rawa .
Grease your palms with some oil and make small balls of the dough then flatten it with your palms.
Repeat the process till the entire dough is used up.
In a pan heat some oil and place a few cabbage cutlets on it. Shallow fry on medium to low flame turning from one side to another till golden brown and crispy on both sides. Remove on a tissue towel. Continue till all the cutlets are fried.
Remove in a serving dish.
Enjoy these crispy and delicious cutlets with some green chutney and ketchup.
Note: Alternatively it can be made in the air fryer with 1-2 drops oil.
