Homemade Babycorn Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients :
250 gms babycorn
1 small onion chopped finely
1-2 spring onions chopped finely
1 green chilli slit in the center
1/2 tbsp chopped ginger
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp coarsely ground pepper
1 tbsp dark soya sauce
2 tbsp cornstarch
salt as per taste
oil for frying
Method:
Wash the babycorn, pat dry them and cut into big oblique pieces.
In a bowl add all the baby corn, cornstarch .a little salt and 1 tsp pepper . Mix well.
Heat some oil in a kadai when the oil is hot enough drop one by one the babycorn coated with cornstarch. Deep fry on high to medium flame till crispy. Remove on a tissue towel and keep aside for future use.
In a non stick pan heat 1 tbsp oil then saute the garlic and ginger for a few seconds then add the green chilli and onions and cook on low flame till pinkish in colour. Add the fried babycorn, salt, pepper and soya sauce. Cook for a few minutes.
Remove in a serving dish and garnish with some chopped spring onion.
