Homemade Moringa Leaves Powder Recipe
Ingredients:
Moringa/drumstick leaves
Method:
Take fresh moringa leaves from the tree or purchased from the market. Wash them properly with the stems on it. Let all the water drain from them.
Remove the leaves from the stem. Discard all the yellow or brown leaves. Then gently wipe all the leaves with a soft muslin or cotton cloth.
Spread it nicely on a clean cloth or paper and allow it to dry inside the house for 1-2 days till they are dry and crispy.
In a grinder jar take the dried moringa leaves and grind into a fine powder.
Sieve the powder and store in a clean dry glass bottle at room temperature.
Note: Moringa Powder is full of health benefits and can be used for weight loss by adding 1/2 to 1 tsp in warm water and having on an empty stomach in the morning. Half to one teaspoon of moringa powder can also be added while cooking dal, curries or sabzis.
