Homemade Healthy Protein Bars Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup dates paste
1/2 cup honey
3/4 cup walnuts
3/4 cup almond
1 cup cranberries
1 cup black raisins
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup melon seeds
1/4 cup flax seeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
4 tsp chia seeds
Method:
Dry roast the oats on low flame for about 5 minutes. Then dry roast the sunflower, melon, flax seeds , almonds, walnuts on low flame for t few seconds each.
Chop the roasted almonds and walnuts into small pieces. Similarly chop the cranberries and raisins also.
Remove the seeds from the dates and in a small grinder grind it into a fine paste.
In a bowl first take all the seeds, nuts, cinnamon powder and chia seeds and mix well.Then add the dates paste to it and again mix. Lastly add the honey and give it a good mix.
In a tray place a parchment paper and spread the mixture evenly on it upto half inch thickness.
Refrigerate it for 2 hours and then remove from the fridge and cut into long bars.
Store at room temperature in an airtight container .
Snack on these healthy Protein bars in between your meals.
Note: Nuts and seeds can be added as per your choice.
