Homemade Dahi Aloo Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes boiled

  • 1/4 cup curds (yogurt )

  • 1 green chilli chopped

  • 1/2 tsp ginger chopped

  • a pinch of asefodita

  • 1/2 tsp jeera (cumin) seeds

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder

  • salt as per taste

  • some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Boil, peel and mash the potatoes into pieces.

  2. In a heavy vessel heat half tbsp ghee, add the asefodita and jeera. When it splutters add the turmeric powder, green chilli, ginger and curds.

  3. Cook on low flame stirring continuously so that the curds do not curdle.

  4. Then add red chilli, salt and boiled potatoes.

  5. Mix well, add one cup water and cook for 5 minutes.

  6. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

    Serve this tasty sabzi with paratha, chapati or puris.
