Homemade Uttapam Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup idli atta

  • 1 slice cheese

  • 2 tbsp green chutney

  • 1 small boiled potato

  • 1 small tomato

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 1 small onion

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

Method:

  1. Boil the potato and slice it into round pieces.

  2. Wash the tomato and cucumber and slice them also into round rings.

  3. Heat a dosa tawa and pour one ladle of the idli batter to form a round thick pan cake. sprinkle some oil all over it. Cover and cook on low to medium flame till brown in colour. Flip and cook on the other side too. Similarly prepare 3 uttapams and keep aside.

  4. When cooled take one uttapam and spread the green chutney all over it. Place the cheese slice over it and then some onion rings and sliced potato over it. Sprinkle some chaat masala. Then place another uttapam over it. Place again some onion rings, then tomato slices and cucumber on it.Sprinkle some chaat masala over the veggies.Place the last uttapam over it. Press slightly and cut into half.
