Homemade Uttapam Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg idli batter

  • 2 green capsicums chopped into small cubes

  • 2 onions chopped into small cubes

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup pizza sauce

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Add salt as per taste in the idli batter and mix well.

  2. Heat a non stick dosa tawa and pour 1-2 ladle of the batter on the tawa and make a half inch thick pan cake. Sprinkle a little oil all over. Cover and cook on low flame till slightly brown from below. Turn and on the cooked side of the uttapam spread some pizza sauce all over. Top some chopped onions and capsicum all over the uttapam. Sprinkle grated cheese all over it. Cover and cook on low flame till the cheese melts.

  3. Remove on a plate and cut into slices. Repeat the process till all the batter is used up.

Enjoy this mouth watering Uttapam Pizza.

Note: To prepare instant pizza sauce :

add 1/2 cup tomato ketchup, 1/2 cup schezwan sauce, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp red chilli powder, a little oregano and chilli flakes. Mix well and pizza sauce is ready.
