Homemade Tofu Bhurji Recipe

Ingredients:
500 gms tofu
3 medium size chopped onions
1 small chopped green capsicum/pepper
1 chopped green chilli
1 tsp chopped ginger
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp jeera /cumin seeds
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp garam masala
1.5 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera powder/cumin powder
salt as per taste
some chopped coriander leaves
Method:
Scramble /Crumble the tofu with hands and keep aside for future use.
Heat 4 tbsp oil in a kadai add the jeera when it splutters saute the garlic and ginger for a second then add the chopped onions and cook on low flame stirring occasionally till translucent.
Add the chopped capsicum and again cook for 2-3 minutes. To it add all the dry spices and salt.
Add the crumbled tofu to the onion masala and cook on low flame for another 5 minutes.
Remove in a serving dish and garnish with some coriander leaves.
Enjoy this healthy tofu bhurji with chapati or paratha.
