Homemade Til Ke Ladoo Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 gms polished white til ( sesame seeds)

  • 300 gms jaggery

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Clean and in a heavy bottom vessel dry roast the sesame seeds till it is crispy.

  2. Chop the jaggery into pieces.

  3. Take a heavy based pan and cook the jaggery on low flame stirring continuously.

  4. To test if the jaggery is done put a drop of it in water and then check if it breaks easily or is still sticky. If it breaks remove the jaggery from flame and quickly add the roasted sesame seeds and cardamom and mix well.

  5. Put some ghee on your palms and quickly roll into small balls.

  6. Store the ladoos in air tight container.
