Homemade Rice Cutlets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked rice

  • 2 tbsp gram flour ( besan )

  • 1 green chilli chopped finely

  • 1 onion chopped finely

  • 1/2 tsp ginger chopped finely

  • 1 tsp jeera (cumin ) seeds

  • 1 pinch asefodita

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

  • salt as per taste

  • some chopped coriander leaves

  • oil for frying

Method:

  1. Mash the cooked rice and add all the above ingredients in it. Mix well, and make a dough of it.

  2. Take a little mixture and then roll into oval shape cutlets. Keep aside.

  3. In a kadai heat some oil for deep frying and fry the cutlets on medium flame one by one till golden brown on both sides.

  4. Remove in a serving dish and serve with green chutney or ketchup.

    note: These rice cutlets are a makeover of leftover rice and can be served as a party starter or even as an evening snack.
