Homemade Raw Banana Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 raw bananas

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil preferred

  • 1 small onion chopped long

  • 1 green chilli chopped finely

  • 2-3 string curry leaves chopped finely

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 whole red chilli

  • 1/4 cup grated fresh coconut

  • salt as per taste

  • some coriander leaves chopped finely

Method:

  1. Wash, peel and chop the bananas into small cubes.

  2. Heat a pan with 2 tbsp oil add mustard seeds when it splutters add the curry leaves, turmeric powder, whole chilli , chopped onions and chillies. Cook till soft then add the chopped bananas and salt with one cup water. Cover and cook stirring at intervals till soft and the water dries completely.

  3. Add the grated coconut and mix well.

  4. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

Enjoy this easy and quick sabzi with chapati or side it with your meal.
