Homemade Raw Banana Cutlet Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8 raw bananas (kacche kele)

  • 1 big onion chopped finely

  • 3-4 green chillies chopped finely

  • 1/2 tbsp ginger chopped finely

  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves chopped finely

  • 1 tbsp white til (sesame seeds )

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp pepper powder

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

  • salt as per taste

  • 1/2 lemon juice

Method:

  1. Wash the raw bananas properly.

  2. Take some water in a pressure cooker place a stand on it. Keep a plate or sieve on the stand and then place all the bananas. Cook up to 1-2 whistles.

  3. Once the pressure is released form the cooker, open the cooker and remove the bananas .

  4. Peel all the bananas and mash or grate them.

  5. Mix all the above remaining ingredients in the grated or mashed bananas.

  6. Make small balls of equal sizes and then flatten them to form cutlets. If it is too dry sprinkle some water in the banana dough so that it can be easily made into balls.

  7. Heat a greased non stick pan and place the cutlets on them . Sprinkle some oil all over and around the cutlets . Cook on low to medium flame till golden brown on both sides.

  8. Remove in a serving plate and sprinkle some chaat masala.

Serve this yummy and healthy cutlets with green chutney or ketchup.
