Homemade Ragi Dosa Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup ragi (finger millet )

  • 1/4 cup urad dal

  • 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds (methi seeds)

  • salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Wash all the above ingredients properly and soak them together in water for about 3-4 hours.

  2. Drain the water and grind into a fine paste by adding little water at a time .Keep it to rest overnight or for 8-9 hours so that the batter is fermented well. Once fermented add the salt and mix well, add water if required.

  3. Take a non stick tawa and heat it then pour a ladle of the batter on the tawa and spread it in circular motion . Sprinkle some oil all over the dosa and cook on medium to high flame till golden brown in colour then flip and cook on the other side also.

  4. Remove in a plate. Repeat the process till all the batter is used.

Serve this healthy Ragi Dosa with potato masala and green chutney.
