Homemade Pesto Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 nos Pizza Bread

  • 2 nos zucchini

  • 6-7 white button mushrooms

  • 6-7 nos babycorn

  • 1 small broccoli

  • 2 cups assorted capsicums

  • 1 cup homemade pesto sauce ( or any brand like Sacla Italia, Barilla Pesto or Jamie Oliver )

  • some chopped basil leaves (optional)

  • 2-3 cups grated mixed processed cheese and mozzarella cheese

Method:

  1. Wash the zucchini, mushrooms, babycorn and slice them into medium thickness.Cut the capsicums into half inch cubes. Cut the broccoli into florets and slightly steam it.

  2. Take a pizza bread and spread 2-3 tbsp pesto sauce evenly on it, then sprinkle some grated cheese and drop a few of each chopped veggie. Again cover the pizza with grated cheese.

  3. Pre heat the oven at 200 C for 10 minutes. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes till the cheese melts and the lower crust is brown and crispy.

  4. Cut into slices and serve this yummy pesto pizza topped with some fresh basil leaves.
