Homemade Parwal Aloo Ki Sabzi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 gms parwal

  • 2 big aloo (potatoes)

  • 1 onion petals

  • 1 big tomato cut into cubes

  • 1/2 tbsp chopped ginger

  • 1 chopped green chilli

  • pinch of asefodita

  • 1 tsp jeera (cumin) seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tbsp chilli powder

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 2-3 tbsp sauf (fennel seeds) grinded coarsely

  • 1 tbsp amchur (mango powder )

  • salt as per taste

  • some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Method :

  1. Peel, wash and chop the parwal and aloo into thick long pieces.

  2. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan add asefodita and jeera when it splutters add the ginger, green chilli, turmeric and chopped aloo and salt . Cover and cook on low flame stirring continuously at intervals till the aloo are semi soft .

  3. Then add the chopped parwal. Again cover and cook on low flame stirring at intervals. When almost cooked add all the remaining spices ,onion petal and tomatoes. Mix well and cover and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

  4. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

Enjoy this tasty parwal aloo ki sabzi with chapati or paratha.
