Homemade Milk Peda Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 litre full fat milk

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  • 2-3 tbsp chopped nuts ( almonds, cashewnuts and pistachio)

Method:

  1. Take a pan and boil the milk.Keep cooking the milk on medium to low flame stirring continuously so that it does not burn for about 30-40 minutes till the milk leaves the sides and comes together to form a dough.

  2. Remove from flame and let it cool slightly then mix the powdered sugar and cardamom.

  3. Make small balls of the dough and then flatten them taking care that there are no cracks. Press in the center of each ball with the thumb and garnish with some chopped nuts.

  4. Keep it to set at room temperature for 3-4 hours.

    Enjoy and make these yummy homemade milk pedas for festivals or pujas.
