Homemade Mawa Modak Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk powder

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup cooking cream

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 2 tbsp ghee


Method:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add the cooking cream. On low flame cook the cream till it leaves the sides.

  2. Add the milk and take a boil.

  3. Then add the milk powder and cook on low flame stirring continuously till it forms a lump and leaves the side.

  4. Remove in a plate and allow it to cool. Then add the cardamom and sugar and mix well.

  5. Take a modak mould and place some dough in it. Press and then remove slowly from the mould.

  6. Repeat the process till all the dough is used.
