Homemade Mawa Barfi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 gms mawa or khoya

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cardamon powder

  • silver foil for decoration (optional)

Method:

  1. In a pan fry the mawa on low flame only for 2 minutes.

  2. Remove in a plate and allow it to cool. When warm enough add the sugar and cardamon powder and mix well till it forms a dough.

  3. Lightly grease a plate and spread the dough evenly about half inch in thickness Cover all over with silver foil.

  4. Allow it to set for an hour then cut into square shape.

  5. Store it in an airtight box. Keep it in the fridge.
