Homemade Lauki Ka Raita Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups curds/yogurt

  • 1/2 cup grated lauki/ doodhi /bottlegourd

  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder

  • 1/4 tsp chaat masala

  • 1/4 tsp roasted jeera / cumin powder

  • black salt as per taste

  • some chopped coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Peel, wash and grate the lauki. In a vessel boil some water add the grated lauki and cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes . Remove from gas and drain out all the extra water. Allow it to cool.

  2. Take a bowl add the curds and all the spices with 1/4 cup water. Whisk properly then add the grated lauki .Mix well.

  3. Remove in a bowl and sprinkle some coriander leaves and roasted jeera powder.

Enjoy this cool and yummy lauki curds with your meals.
