Homemade Kadha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 inch cinnamon stick

  • 1 tbsp sauf ( fennel seeds )

  • 1 tsp whole pepper

  • 5-6 cloves

  • 1 inch ginger

  • 7-8 tulsi leaves ( basil)

  • 500 ml water

  • 1-2 tsp honey ( optional)

Method:

  1. Clean, wash and crush the ginger.

  2. Wash the tulsi leaves.

  3. In a pan or pot add the water and all the above ingredients together.

  4. Boil on high to low flame till the water is reduced to half the quantity which will take about 30 minutes.

  5. Strain the water .

  6. Serve hot with some honey.

This kadha acts as an immunity booster and also fights against cold, cough and sore throat.
