Homemade Instant Aloo Dosa Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium aloo/ potatoes

  • 1 cup rawa/semolina

  • 1 cup besan/gram flour

  • 1/2 cup curds/yogurt

  • 3 nos whole red kashmiri chillies

  • salt as per taste

  • 1/2 tsp soda bi carb

  • oil for cooking

Method:

  1. Peel, wash and chop the aloo into big cubes.

  2. In a grinder jar add the chopped aloo and whole kashmiri chilies and grind to a fine paste.

  3. In a bowl mix the rawa, besan, salt and curds together then add the aloo paste and mix well. Add 2 cups water to the mixture and make a flowing consistency batter. Allow it to rest fro 10 minutes.

  4. Just before making the dosa add the soda Bi carb and mix well. If the batter is thick add a little water.

  5. Heat a dosa tawa pour a ladle of the batter on it and spread in circular motion to make a round dosa. Sprinkle some oil all over it and cook on medium flame till brown on the other side.

  6. Remove in a plate and continue till all the batter is used.

Enjoy these yummy aloo dosa with paneer or potato filling and some green chutney.
