Homemade Green Chilli Fry Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10 nos fresh green chillis

  • 1/2 tsp rai / mustard seeds

  • 1/ 4 tsp asefodita/hing

  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp roughly ground sauf /fennel seeds

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tbsp amchur/ mango powder

  • salt as per taste

  • 2 tbsp mustard oil preferably

Method :

  1. Take green chillis with the stalk and wash them properly then dry pat them completely .

  2. Make a slit in the center of all the chillis and keep them aside for future use.

  3. Heat the oil in a small heavy based pan till smoke is seen coming out then switch off the gas. Add the mustard seeds when it splutters add the hing and switch on the gas on low flame. Add the sauf and green chills. Saute them till they are soft then add the turmeric, chilli powder, salt and amchur. Mix well and switch off the flame.

  4. Remove in a serving dish.
