Homemade Dahi Kebabs Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 250 gms curds ( yogurt)

  • 1 tbsp ginger/ garlic paste

  • 2-3 green chilies finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp jeera ( cumin) powder

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • salt as per taste

  • 1-2 tbsp roasted besan (gram flour)

  • bread crumbs for binding

Method

  1. Hang the curds overnight and squeeze all the extra water from it. To it add ginger/garlic paste , green chilies finely chopped , salt, white and black pepper , garam masala, jeera powder and cardamom powder. Mix all the above ingredients together and add roasted gram flour just enough to bind it to form a soft dough.

  2. Take a small portion of the dough and roll into round shape balls and slightly flatten them.. Repeat the process till all the balls are ready from the dough.

  3. Then coat all the balls with bread crumbs and keep aside.

  4. In a non stick pan heat 3-4 tbsp oil and place a few the flatten balls on it. Shallow fry them on medium to low flame till they are golden brown on both sides.

  5. Remove in a serving dish and serve with green chutney.

    Enjoy these Dahi kebabs as a starter.
