Homemade Bread Rasmalai Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 10 slices of white bread

  • 1 liter full fat milk

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

  • 2 tbsp chopped almond

  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachio

  • 8-9 strands saffron

Method:

  1. In a pan boil the milk on high flame. Then lower the flame and add sugar, chopped almonds, pistachio, cardamon and saffron.Keep cooking the milk on low flame stirring at intervals so that the milk does not burn and get stuck to the bottom of the pan. Cook till the milk becomes two third the quantity.Allow it to cool and then refrigerate the milk.

  2. Take a slice of bread and with the help of a cutter or glass or katori cut the bread into a round shape.Repeat the process for all the bread slices.

  3. Take a serving dish place a slice of bread and then pour some milk over it garnish with some chopped nuts.Allow the bread to soak in the milk for 4-5 minutes then serve.
