Homemade Bedmi Puri Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 + 1/2 cups urad dal

  • 4 cups wheat flour

  • 4 tbsp sauf (fennel seeds) coarsely ground

  • 3 tbsp coriander powder

  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1/4 tsp asefodita

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • salt as per taste

  • oil for frying

Method:

  1. Soak the urad dal for 5-6 hours.

  2. Drain all the water and grind to a fine paste without adding any water.

  3. Add all the above ingredients along with the dal paste to the wheat flour and make a semi hard dough.

  4. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Make small equal size balls of the dough.

  6. Roll into small round disc.

  7. Heat oil when hot fry the puris on medium flame till golden brown on both sides.

    Serve this tasty and crispy puris with Aloo Sabzi .
