Homemade Barnyard Aloo Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups barnyard flour / sanwa atta
5 nos boiled potatoes medium size
3 chopped green chillies
1 tbsp chopped ginger
3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt as per taste
oil for cooking
Method:
Boil and grate the potatoes. Take a bowl add the barnyard atta and all the spices, mix well. Then add the grated potatoes and knead into a smooth dough, if needed then only add a little water.
Make equal size balls of the dough. Cover and keep.
Take one ball of the dough dust some flour and lightly roll into a medium thickness paratha .Take a cover of a steel box or katori and place it on the paratha then press to give it a round shape. Remove the extra dough from it.
Heat a tawa and lightly grease it with some oil then slowly place the rolled paratha on it and cook on both sides by applying some oil till brown spots are seen on both sides.
Repeat the process till all the dough is used up.
Enjoy this healthy millet paratha with some curds and salad.
